Our goal is to raise $5,000 to support the sponsoring of a new school to enrich the lives of children through literacy, learning, and library makeovers. Reading is vital to a child’s future. Statistics show if children cannot read by third grade, they cannot get the most out of their education, ultimately limiting their potential (Literacy First 2023). To help children thrive in school, we can support low-income Title I schools by providing diverse books for classrooms and libraries that need them most.
In 2023, we’re bringing Little Yellow Libraries to Title I schools across Texas and New York to enrich the lives of youth through education, and we’re just getting started.
